£42,000 – £50,000 + Career Development
A growing Health & Safety and ISO consultancy is looking to appoint a Health & Safety & ISO Consultant to join its expanding team.
This is an opportunity to work for a business that combines the agility, culture and influence of a small consultancy with an enviable portfolio of major UK clients. You’ll have the opportunity to work directly with decision-makers, build your own client relationships and play a genuine role in shaping both client solutions and the future direction of the business.
If you’re frustrated by corporate bureaucracy, limited autonomy or feeling like just another number, this could be the opportunity you’ve been looking for.
The Role
Working with clients across telecommunications, engineering, construction and infrastructure sectors, you’ll help organisations improve Health & Safety performance, strengthen management systems and achieve ISO compliance.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting audits, inspections and risk assessments
- Supporting ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems
- Delivering gap analyses and compliance reviews
- Developing policies, procedures and management system documentation
- Supporting certification and recertification projects
- Delivering training and awareness sessions
- Building trusted client relationships and becoming a valued adviser
The role offers a mix of site-based consultancy, client meetings and home or office-based project work. No two weeks are the same.
About You
You’ll ideally have:
- NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent)
- Around 2-5 years’ Health & Safety experience
- Exposure to ISO standards and auditing
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- A practical, solutions-focused approach
- A genuine desire to develop within consultancy
Experience within telecommunications, construction, civils, engineering or infrastructure environments would be particularly attractive.
Why Join?
- Work with an impressive portfolio of established UK organisations
- Genuine autonomy and ownership rather than micromanagement
- Direct access to business leaders and clients
- Opportunity to influence how projects are delivered
- A collaborative team where ideas are welcomed and acted upon
- Clear progression based on performance and capability, not hierarchy
- Diverse and challenging work across multiple industries
This is an excellent opportunity for a Health & Safety professional looking to step into a consultancy environment where they can make a real impact, develop quickly and be part of a business with ambitious growth plans.
Interested? We’d love to hear from ambitious Health & Safety professionals who want more responsibility, more variety and a greater say in the work they do.
