This highly reputable and successful Investments and Financial planning company (HO in London) is currently seeking a professional and well-presented Financial Services Administrator-(pensions) to work within their busy Pensions team in York.
The role of Financial Services Administrator-(pensions) is working alongside a small team and reporting to the Operations Manager, providing administrative and support services to the Client Managers, Directors and Consultants
Your role of Financial Services Administrator-(pensions) will involve:
- Ensuring the in-house Pension Scheme System is kept up to date with scheme transactions (full training provided).
- Preparing accounts and valuations.
- Client invoicing
- Creating fee input sheets for finance.
- Banking templates for processing.
- Liaising with Client Managers on overdue invoices and chasing where required
- Dealing with cheques and payments coming in and out of pension schemes
- HMRC reporting and other regulatory reporting
- Pension payments and PAYE reconciliation
- Drafting vat returns for Client Manager approval.
In an ideal world, financial services/pensions administration experience would be fantastic although we will consider great people with good general admin./accounts experience and an interest in this area. You will have a background probably in finance/accounts/bookkeeping.
Full training will be given on the in-house client management & document management system but a working knowledge of excel, word, etc would be ideal.
Hybrid working is available usually 2 days a week in the office, 3 days from home.
When working in the office no onsite parking is available although there are plenty of places to park within walking distance of the offices and it is also walkable from the city centre.
Salary – £24-26K, plus
