We’re looking for 28 reliable people to help with a one‑day bus survey taking place across York on Tuesday, 6th October. You’ll be based at a set location and record buses passing in both directions during three short survey periods. Although the work happens at specific times, you’ll be paid for the full day.
What the job involves
You’ll stand at your assigned survey point and record key details for every bus that passes, including time, direction, route number, occupancy, and vehicle type. A clear training guide will be provided.
Survey times (you must be available all day)
- 07:30–09:00
- 11:00–12:30
- 16:30–18:00
You’ll need to arrive ten minutes early for each period.

Pay
£12.71 per hour, paid for the full day (10.5 hrs pay approx. £133 for the day)
