We are once again working with the lovely, inclusive team at Stillington Surgery is looking for a warm, reliable and flexible temporary Receptionist to support their friendly team. With recent staffing changes, the practice needs someone who can confidently “float” across the week to cover gaps as they arise.
About the Role
Working as part of a welcoming health centre team, you will be the face of the surgery:
- Greeting patients and providing a calm, friendly presence at reception
- Handing out prescriptions and issuing repeat prescriptions
- Booking appointments and supporting the clinical team with general reception duties
This is a hands‑on, people‑focused role where your ability to stay organised and approachable will make a real difference to the community.
Working Hours
The practice has outlined the following priority cover:
- All day Friday – either 8:30am or 9am start, finishing at 6pm
- Monday mornings – 8:30am to 1pm
- Potential Tuesday mornings – depending on existing staff availability; flexibility to add this if needed
This is an initial 6‑month temporary assignment with an immediate start.
