We’re looking for a proactive Safety, Security & Maintenance Coordinator to join a extremely successful, family owned (and rapidly growing) Yorkshire-based business. This is a highly visible role within the horticultural sector where you’ll take ownership of site safety, compliance, security and maintenance coordination, helping to create a safe, efficient and well-organised working environment for everyone on site.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing health & safety systems, policies and site compliance.
- Carrying out risk assessments, audits and site inspections.
- Investigating incidents and promoting a positive safety culture.
- Coordinating site security activities and supporting the security team.
- Scheduling and monitoring planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
- Managing contractors, statutory inspections and compliance records.
- Producing reports, maintaining documentation and driving continuous improvement.
What we’re looking for
- A recognised Health & Safety qualification NEBOSH
- Experience in Health & Safety, Compliance, Facilities, Maintenance or Operations.
- Knowledge of COSHH, LOLER, PUWER, risk assessments and contractor management.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- A practical, positive and approachable attitude.
