Remote – £28,000-£32,000 (Depending on Experience)
Due to exceptional growth, our client has an exciting opportunity for a Careers Adviser to join their well established team. They are looking for someone who is passionate about helping shape young people’s future by identifying their strengths, aspirations and challenges to progression.
The Role
The successful Careers Adviser will:
- Work with schools and other educational facilities
- Provide presentations, workshops, individual and group sessions
- Build relationships with employers, colleges and universities to create progression pathways
- Support participants who require additional advice and guidance to overcome barriers to their desired path.
- Accurately recording interview information, advice and signposting offered
- Continue to keep knowledge up to date on the jobs market, education pathways and aprenticeships
- Contribute to the continued improvement of our Careers Adviser offering
- This role has a York office base and will require you to be on site at educational facilities in North Yorkshire West Yorkshire or Teesside 3 days per week.
What We’re Looking For
- Essential: CEIAG qualification (ideally level 6 or willingness to work towards Level 6), Successful track record of providing careers guidance, knowledge of careers and job market
- Skills: Excellent communicator and rapport builder, genuine enthusiasm to help people succeed, organised, resilient, creative.
Salary: £28,000 to £32,000
