We are working with the UK’s largest independently-owned survey and safety equipment company, delivering technical services and solutions to the construction industry nationwide UK’s infrastructure and growth. Due to major growth, we are recruiting for a full time, permanent Management Accountant to be based out of their Head Office in Leeds (LS9).

The Management Accountant is responsible for preparing, developing, and analysing key financial information to ensure that an organisation’s management team makes well-informed decisions to ensure future stability, growth, and profitability.

Essentially, we are looking for the following: 

• An AAT qualified Accountant who is looking to progress both in study and within their role.
• Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar role
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
• Experience in financial reporting and analysis of financial data
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Sage, Oracle).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

They have recently implemented a new ERP called Inspire so if you have any knowledge of that you will definitely stand out! They are having difficulties with supplier and customer queries so the role will be generally assisting the credit controller & purchase ledger clerk with queries and system issues and then progressing to assist in the preparation of Management Accounts.

In return you will receive:

• £35-40K plus study support (CIMA)
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Core office hours 8-5 (flexible start and finish, 38 hours/week)
• May require occasional travel
