A great opportunity has arisen for an individual with Sales Ledger and general accounts experience to join a friendly, medium sized, exciting company based in York. The company specialises in providing leisure related services and are looking for a fantastic addition to their team. Working within an extremely busy department, your role involves managing a selection of customer’s accounts and ensuring that payments are processed correctly and providing support to the company’s Accounts team.
Your key tasks will include:
The successful candidate applying for the role of Sales Ledger Accounts Assistant will come from an environment where you have had previous credit control or accounting experience; you will have exceptionally high standards when it comes to attention to detail; processing can be down to the penny within this role!
We are looking for a candidate with a warm and professional telephone manner, excellent IT skills (particularly with Microsoft packages) and especially experience of using Excel.
As a person, you will have a positive, enthusiastic, “can do” attitude, with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. We are looking for an individual with a keen eye for specific details, and the ability to effectively time manage as the environment can often be fast paced.
